My birthday's in a few days...

...and I just thought it might be nice to mark it by sending postcards to all those of my friends who want one. So if you want a postcard from London, put in your address and I hope I can make it in time.

Yes, I know that the birthday boy is usually sent cards. I'm just a hopeless contrarian, you see. Besides, I thought I might do something to mark my appreciation of my f-list.

Yoe birthday? You can have a birthday fic. Though I see you've gone over the good old cancerian cusp into being a leo. Alas, cancers rock.

Born in the month of the Lion of the year of the Tiger. (1962) Well, if you can, I would like something fluffy about Ginny, whom I see as a young Katharine Hepburn (without, necessarily, what has recently been revealed about the young Hepburn's aggressive bisexual lusts - but do what you will).

Hmm. It's kind of a more serious fic based on Orwell, but Ginny certainly does feature, and she's certainly not a serious character within it. I always saw Hermione as the young Hepburn, Ginny more as your young, politically indescriminate shit-stirrer.

You are at the moment almost exactly twice my age. Of course, this will no longer be the case come the 24th.

Actually, seeing as you are a Leo, maybe I should find you that article about the african lion that totally pwned 42 Cambodian midget wrestlers as well. Alas, no pictures, but the story is vivid enough to tell it all.

I'd love one, but I want your address back, too. I see a lot of beautiful cards and don't have enough excuses to pick them up.

No guarantees for fluffy Ginny. I can't do the Trio either. She'd probably end up an alcoholic burned-out exhibition dueler if I tried.
